Say your Song has that boring Off Beat Bass, and you want something different and better, you want to test out Rolling Bass Patterns, Swinging Patterns, Legato Bending Patterns to see which fits. Manually Drawing Pattern in the Piano Roll will take a big chunk of time out of your creative session, Trying out Bass Loops from Splice is another way to test out Patterns but the Samples are different Scale and different note sequence altogether, that trying to fix that to fit your project will take another big chunk just messing around and not getting any proper ideas or result.
